The Beauty of Art

Ever since the ancient times, art mostly served as a form of self-expression. People like Greeks and Romans made beautiful, astonishing sculptures, most of them still existing today to amaze us with their realism, resemblance to a real human being. Not to mention thousands of beautiful Renaissance paintings, some of which are considered the most beautiful ones (e.g. ´Mona Lisa´), showing us the talent of the artist but sometimes even his emotional state by just focusing and observing the painting itself. That's the thing  I like about art because it can be more than just creating something. It can be a reflection of the artist himself but, most importantly, it allows his imagination to do what it wants, giving him the feeling of happiness and fulfillment once his work of art is finished. I personally enjoy creating my artworks as well as you hopefully do watching them.
